hello & happy Saturday! A week or two ago I visited the Louis Vuitton pop-up store in Chicago with one of my best friends. That's just one of the infinite things I LOVE about living in a big city- there is always some fun event to attend or place to explore! Since my friend (Alice) and I love having photoshoots, we dressed to kill & took some pretty stellar pics against the pop-up's brick wall. Keep scrolling to see my #ootd :)

I am honestly so blessed to be living in my favorite city going on such fun adventures with my friends. Before ending this post I just want to remind all of you to make time for the things that make you happy, whether that's fashion, spending time with friends, or posing for an hour in front of a tripod with your best friend in order to get that perfect Instagram-worthy picture ;)
hello, happy Saturday, & welcome to the latest installment of Steffi Styles, the series where I choose a trend/article of clothing and show you guys how I style it! Today I'll be showing you how I style one of the hottest trends right now- animal prints!
For this look I'm wearing a leopard print dress from H&M. When styling animal print, I personally like to keep the rest of the outfit fairly simple, which is why I opted for a solid white shirt under the dress and some chunky white sneakers.
One of my favorite tips for looking stylish is to accessorize, so naturally I incorporated some jewelry into this look. I'm wearing a layered necklace from Forever21 and a BEAUTIFUL charm bracelet by Tory Burch! I think gold jewelry goes best with this animal print because the fabric of my dress contains warm-tones.

BRACELET: TORY BURCH
I had so much fun styling this outfit, so I hope this look gave you some serious style inspo! As always, follow me on Instagram to see what other outfits I put together :)
hey beautifuls it's Steffi & I am beyond excited to share today's blog post with all of you! This post contains all my tips and tricks for ensuring you have cute outfits to wear during any fun getaways this summer *ignore the fact that the photos in this post say spring break, I'm really behind on posting this lol*. There's nothing worse than packing some of your favorite pieces and then realizing that everything you brought on your trip clashes with each other, so keep reading if you want to know how to properly pack for a vacation!
step no. 1: check the weather
This may seem like common sense, but I can't emphasize enough the importance of know the temperature and weather conditions of the location you're traveling to. Imagine it raining all week and you only packed flip flops- clearly the weather conditions are important to take note of!
STEP NO. 2: MAKE A LIST
Step #2 is pretty self-explanatory; make a list of items you know you want to bring with you on the trip. This could include vague terms such as "a coat, jeans, and 2 pairs of sneakers," or be as specific as "my 1995 vintage Tommy Hilfiger sweater."
STEP NO. 3: lay out your clothing items
Next, lay all the clothes you want to bring on your bed so you can see how many items that is. I also like to divide up my items into piles of pants, dresses, tops, t-shirts, long sleeve tops, purses, and accessories so I can gage if I have the right amount of clothing from each category.
STEP NO. 4: create FLAT-LAYS of outfit combos
Not gonna lie, I stole this idea from Shay Mitchell's Coachella vlog, but it's a great way to visualize looks. This process shows you which clothing items can be combined and which don't match the vibe of your other pieces. It's also super helpful to try on the outfits so you can make sure they look just as good on you as they do in flat-lay form! The most important part of this step is to TAKE PICTURES of each outfit combo !! 📷
STEP NO. 5: MAKE AN OUTFITs FOLDER ON PHONE
This step is insanely simple- just create a folder on your phone and fill it with all the flat-lays you took. (I decided to edit the photos using VSCO in order to fix the discoloration caused by the poor lighting in my bedroom, but editing is 100% optional)
STEP NO.6: set out your clothes & accessories
The last thing you need to do is put all of your articles of clothing, accessories, and shoes you plan on bringing in one central location. I am a very forgetful person so it is necessary for me to store all these pieces together so I don't accidentally forget to pack something. I'm not showing you guys how I pack the clothing into my suitcase because I'm honestly not the best at it, but all you need to do when it's time to leave for your trip is to throw everything in a suitcase and zip it shut!
STEP No. 7: ENJOY YOUR VACATION IN STYLE
The last step is to simply enjoy your vacation in style! Summer trips don't have to consist of coverups and old t-shirts- just follow these steps and you'll look stunning no matter where you go!
hello & happy Saturday! I've decided to start a new series on my blog titled Steffi Styles, where I choose a trend or article of clothing & show you guys how I style it! For today's post I'm styling this trendy patterned jacket from Forever 21.
When I style a patterned jacket, I often pair it with solid-colored items to make the jacket pop. For this look I chose to wear all black (shoes, jeans, and top). It's also important to not forget about accessories! While a jacket like this definitely makes a statement, it is still crucial to finish off the look with some jewelry, fun heels, or a cute handbag. I paired my coat with gold layered necklaces, small gold-rimmed sunnies, and my go-to boots (NastyGal black platform heels).
I hope you guys enjoyed this post & found it helpful! If there are any other trends or articles of clothing you want me to style comment suggestions on this post or shoot me a DM on Instagram!
Exciting news!! I just uploaded a YOUTUBE video showing you guys 4 different ways you can style mom jeans. I've wanted to post a YouTube video for quite some time and I finally filmed and edited this one over spring break. I'll link it down below, so if you want to see extra content not found on my blog be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel :)
*I've just started my spring quarter of college and I've decided to dedicate more time to creating & posting content on my blog (and YouTube), so keep an eye out for fashion-related blog posts every Saturday for the next few months!*
A few weeks ago I went to Travis Scott's concert with my friend (& little in my sorority) Mari. The show was absolutely INCREDIBLE and it was amazing to be able to stand front row and watch Travis Scott perform live! I obviously didn't want to go to such a fun concert wearing a boring outfit, so here is the look I wore to Astroworld:
^me & my little!
☆mesh top: NastyGal
☆oversized t-shirt: Ali & Ariel
☆shoes: Michael Kors
☆hairstyle: 4 small dutch braids with the rest of my hair down
I hope you enjoyed this blog post & keep an eye out for a new one next week!
I used to think that there was nothing more embarrassing than being singled out as an "outfit repeater"...
... but now I've come to appreciate having a "go-to" outfit which I love to re-wear. There are so many benefits to having a favorite clothing combo which can be worn time and time again. Here are a few reasons as to why having a go-to outfit is actually a good thing.
reason no. 1: it saves time
There have definitely been days when I'm running late and have 30 seconds to decide what I'm going to wear. Having a favorite outfit really saves me in instances like this- it lets me leave the house looking stylish and saves me time I would have wasted trying on different outfits.
reason no. 2: you feel confident wearing it
It's your favorite outfit for a reason- it makes you feel confident, sexy, pretty, basically any positive adjective you can think of. There's nothing wrong with re-wearing something if it makes you feel like your best self. Having a go-to outfit also comes in handy when you're going to the first day of class, a first date, etc. and need that extra boost of confidence.
REASON No. 3: you can save $
If you're a shopaholic, this may not be entirely true for you, but re-wearing an outfit means you don't have to constantly go out and buy new clothes. Having those few basic pieces that you like to wear can cut down on your clothing purchases since you're content with your wardrobe.
REASON no. 4: it embodies your personal style
Basically all celebrities have a signature look- whether it's Kate Middleton with her nude L.K.Bennett heels or Kris Jenner with her giant black sunglasses. A go-to outfit is a single look that embodies your entire sense of style and taste. It's very cool to be able to show the world your sense of style in just one outfit, which in my opinion makes owning a go-to outfit something special instead of something to be embarrassed about.
The start of a new calendar year marks the time when people write down their resolutions, plan out goals, and create vision boards for the new year. While I do make typical goals such as "work out more" or "eat healthy" just like all the other 7.53 billion people in the world, I also like to design a fashion vision board for the year that lies ahead.
While looks and what you wear aren't everything, I believe there's no better way to kick off a new year than with a good outfit! A lot of my confidence lies in my ability to express myself through fashion, so I've decided to share my 2019 fashion vision board with all of you to hopefully spark your interest and give you some style inspiration for the new year.
Life is too short to waste time wearing subpar outfits, so I encourage each and every one of you to design your own style inspo board for 2019!
Okay guys! So I've been testing out the patterned pants trend and it is LIFE CHANGING! Printed pants make any outfit look stylish and unique, plus it's great because all you need to do is pair them with a solid colored top & basic shoes and you've got yourself a killer outfit. I've been obsessed with this particular pair of checkered pants from Pretty Little Thing recently. Keep scrolling if ya want to see how I've styled them!
