STEFFI STYLES: BUCKET HATS

hello and happy Saturday!  In this latest installment of Steffi Styles, I'm showing you how I style a bucket hat.  I created two different looks- a casual 'fit and a fancy 'fit.  This blog post includes photos and styling tips, but if you want to see more be sure to click the link at the bottom of this page to view my newest YouTube video- a mini fashion film dedicated to styling bucket hats.  

LOOK NO. 1: COOL GIRL CASUAL

One of my favorite ways to style a bucket hat is to simply throw on an oversized t-shirt.  Who says fashion can't be comfortable?  For this look I'm wearing a shirt from designer Virgil Abloh's pop-up exhibit at MCA in Chicago.  It gives off major street style vibes, so my tip to you is to pair a bucket hat with a band tee, edgy shirt, or anything oversized!  Lastly, adding some jewelry brings in a feminine touch which really ties the whole outfit together!

LOOK NO. 2: LBD LOOK

Look number two is definitely fancier than the first outfit.  Fashion is all about experimentation, so mixing casual pieces with dressy pieces is always a move.  Since a little black dress is a timeless look, I paired my LBD with my bucket hat.  Color coordination is also something to consider when creating an outfit, so naturally I made sure my hat and shoes matched (both white).
