WHAT I WORE IN GERMANY

As some of you might already know, I just got back from a week & a half long trip to Germany.  In today's post I'm showing you which outfits I wore while traveling, pictures of the cities I traveled to, as well as sharing a few tips on what clothes to pack for vacation.  

WITZENHAUSEN

The first stop on my trip was the small {and I mean SMALL} town of Witzenhausen.  My grandpa grew up here, so my family spent a few days walking along familiar streets and attending a local cherry festival🍒
As for my look, I chose to wear flip flops or sneakers because the cobblestones in this town made it impossible to wear heels.

My fam also took a day trip to see the castle where my grandparents got married.  Since we had to climb a steep hill to get to the castle, I opted for sneakers again.  I wore jeans because it was a little chilly out that morning.  I recommend packing your favorite pair of jeans while traveling because they don't wrinkle easily and match virtually anything.  

BERLIN

Did you even go to Berlin if you didn't visit the Berlin wall?  When I went to see the wall, I chose to dress more casual since I knew I had to do a lot of walking.  I kept the look both casual yet cute by matching my purse to my t-shirt and wearing a designer label top.  

One of my favorite parts of the entire trip was taking a limo ride through Berlin at night!  We drove to the Pariser Platz {pictured above}, took some photos, then saw the whole city by car.  

​My outfit I picked consisted of nude heels, lots of jewelry, and a simple white tank top.  When traveling, it's important to pack clothes that can be dressed up or dressed down {like my jeans & tank combo}.

I also walked around a lot and explored the city.  The first photo is taken in front of the Berliner Dom, and the second pic is of St. Mary's Church with the iconic tv tower in the background.  For the outfit pictured, I decided to wear hoops to jazz up the look.  I like adding jewelry to my outfits in order to look more stylish.  If you want to know more of my tips on how to always look stylish be sure to check out my previous blog post!

5 TIPS TO ALWAYS LOOK STYLISH

While in Berlin I obviously had to go shopping, so naturally I stopped at Tommy Hilfiger.  I also visited KaDeWe, a HUGE store filled with products by every designer possible.  Although a lot of the items they sold were very expensive {think Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent} it was still fun to walk around and get a glimpse of what styles are popular in Berlin.
